Yaku Rug

639

Yaku rugs are crafted from the longest and silkiest of the alpaca furs. Yaku means “water” in the South-American Quechua language and the rug holds a cushion of soft air in the fur, making it feel like a gentle breeze is blowing under your footsteps when you step on the rug, almost like defying gravity and lifting you up. Each rug has a slightly unique look and little differences in colour and fibre length can occur due to the use of natural materials. All natural Yaku rugs reflect light in a beautiful and surprising way, creating a stunning individual signature for any interior design.

All alpaca fur rugs are made of cruelty-free alpaca fur, meaning no animal was hurt or mistreated to make them. Alpacas are too valuable wool bearing animals to be killed for their fur. Only pelts from animals that have died a natural death are used, meaning you can revel in the luscious pleasures of fur with a clear conscience.
